My wall mask series are inspired by ceremonial masks of various cultures throughout the world. I use oxides and stains to enhance the texture of the masks and bring out the natural earth features of the clay. The masks are framed in wooden shadow boxes, with raffia and silk fibers to enhance the aesthetic design.
